Style Trend to Keep Your Eye On

You may have seen lariats draped around the necks of celebrities at many of the recent awards shows, and wondered at this new accomplishment in the land of accessories. For those of you who have not yet witnessed the lariat, it traditionally has a long chain that can be wrapped around your neck more than once. As opposed to a clasp, the ends are generally loose and come together at the front of the neck, where they can be tied or gathered in some fashion. Other times, the necklace does clasp at the back of the neck, but instead of your usual circular chain, the chain continues down the front of the neck in the shape of a "Y."
