Malagasy leader given ultimatum

Madagascar's opposition leader threatens to topple President Marc Ravalomanana from power if he does not resign within hours.

As we have seen today the F1 09 cars will be looking vastly different from the cars of F1 08. If you look at just the Ferrari car which you can see over at blogF1. Highlights include Big front wing, narrow rear wing, sculpted coke bottle mid section. It features a longitudinally-mounted carbon fiber cased gearbox and new Brembo designed braking system.

How will the drivers adjust to the new look and feel of the car? It will be a vastly different machine to be driven around the track and has the potential to really shake up the season! The drivers will really need to place themselves in a position that they are extremely familiar with the car and one reason that Ferrari may do well year in and year out (apart from having a brilliantly engineered and designed car) is that the give their drivers loads of time to get used to the feel of the car.

Today Massa was out on the track testing and practicing, weeks ahead of any other team. This added practice and tweaking to the car can be used to hugely advantage the Ferrari team. As the drive is reported to be supremely different to the F1 08 season cars practice in the cockpit is absolutely vital to get the fine tuning of the car correct. Especially now that testing is no longer allowed during the season, this added practice time becomes even more vital! So what will Carolyntemoshenka4208 in the 2009 F1 season? Once again we will see Ferrari at the top competing heavily for the title - no surprise there but the style of the car will truly show you the excellence this team has in developing cars.

As the Ferrari technical director, Aldo Costa said: "As you can see the car is not an evolution of last year's car. It's a completely new car, starting from a white piece of paper". This will truly you show you the quality of the Ferrari team as starting from scratch they can build a potential championship winning machine. So the trick? Get as much time in the car before the beginning of season!
